First things first – this is definitely on our radar to find a long-term solution for and high on our priorities for this month.
Second – yes, getting in touch with @Justin_Allen (or more accurately, letting him getting in touch with you, because he needs to raise a PM) is the right way for us to collect more data and to work on restoring access.
While from September - early December we were able to ofix some individual cases to help users login – we won’t be able to do that for the rest of the year and are planning to resolve this (for anyone facing this issue with login) in January.
@Colin it’s February and I am having this issue with my GitHub account (dknoodle). Is there another way to fix this and/or can someone correct it for me, please? I am trying to create a new Organization and will be adding about a dozen repos and 20+ developers with a new subscription if I can get this fixed.
I’m really, very happy to let you know that our team has solved the login issue for 97.5% of the affected logins.
There are still a handful of users who will face an issue on login that we could not easily fix, that we will fix on request. If you still face any issue on login that results in the following message:
Reason: You can’t sign up because login ‘<login>’ is already used by an existing user.
Please don’t hesitate to respond to this thread. I have already reached out to some folks on this thread who will need some extra work to restore access.
Hi, I have a same issue with account ‘jasofalcon’ (github login)
I was granted access by our organization to sonar cloud but i am unable to join. Can you let me know when can I expect this to be resolved?
