Your screenshot highlights a subscription to failing background tasks. To be clear, that’s distinct and very different from a failing Quality Gate. Could you be explicit about the notification you expected to receive but did not, and the surrounding circumstances?

Our sonar check is associated with gitlib, using the author’s email address on gitlib. In sonar system, I also created corresponding email users
If the author of those issues is subscribed to the relevant notifications, then she will indeed be notified. As for the QG notification, that’s on change of status. If the project was failing yesterday because of coverage and you add additional failure reasons (issues) today, that won’t trigger another notification because the overall status (Failed) hasn’t changed.
