SonarQuabe upgrade from 8.9.6 (LTA) to 9.9.5 (LTA) version with postgres DB upgrade

Hi Team,

We are planning to upgrade SonarQube from 8.9.6 (LTA) to latest LTA version 9.9.5 (LTA) (or to the latest LTA version if released in future) in my current environment as the postgress DB url that is being used in our existing sonarqube is getting upgraded from postgress 11.x to postgress 14.x and with this the existing DB URL will also getting changed.

Here are the details of our current environemnt setup:
CentOS Linux release 7.9.2009
Java 11
PostgreSQL 11.x
SonarQube 8.9.6

What steps/procedure we should follow to upgrade SonarQube from 8.9.6 LTA to 9.9.5 LTA (or to the latest LTA version if released in future) with while keeping the existing rules/setup of the environment as is.

Are there any known compatibility issues or additional steps we need to be aware of for upgrade process?

Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Need one more info;In our environment we need Tibco BW6/CE plugin to be installed.

However , We are unable to find the Tibco BW6/CE plugin jar file in the market place (SonarSource Downloads-CDN)

Could you please help to share the location from where we can download the latest Tibco BW6/CE plugin jar.

Hey there.

That’s a community-supported plugin (that has never requested inclusion in our marketplace). You’ll need to search around! Probably, they have a GitHub repo somewhere.
