Oldest SonarQube scanner and server versions to support C++23

Limitations:
Unfortunately, organization I work, for enforces very conservative software upgrade policy that prevents installation of “latest and greatest” versions.

Question:
What is the “oldest” versions of build-wrapper and server that support C++23 standard

An opt-in, experimental mode for C++23 was introduced in SonarQube v10.0. It is not related to the scanner version, but the SonarQube version.

Our support is pretty stable now, but if you need to stick to LTA versions of our software, you’ll have the best chance of using it early next year when our new LTA comes out. You won’t be able to analyze C++23 on SonarQube v9.9, no matter how hard you try! :confused:

I don’t have a specific version to commit to right now, but it should be our first release of SonarQube in 2025.
