Will not fix not available

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

  • which versions are you using
    (Version 7.5 (build 20543)
  • what are you trying to achieve
    trying to mark false positives by marking them as “Will not fix”
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this

I am not able to get permissions to mark bugs as will not fix , even getting admin permissions does not seem to work , does anyone have any suggestion on how to get this addressed ?

Welcome to the community!

First, your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

7.5 → 7.9.6 → 8.9.3 → 9.2.1 (last step optional)

You may find the Upgrade Guide and the LTS-to-LTS Upgrade Notes helpful. If you have questions about upgrading, feel free to open a new thread for that here.

Regarding your question, it sounds like you - as an individual - may not have the ‘Administer Issues’ permission on the project. You should talk to your project admin.
