Put back previously accepted issues on SonarQube

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

  • which versions are you using (SonarQube, Scanner, Plugin, and any relevant extension) SonarQube community edition v9.3
  • what are you trying to achieve: letting vulnerabilities that were previously marked as won’t fix, be picked up again by the analysis.

As the title says: I’m wondering if there is a simple way to mark issues that were previously marked as wont fix as an issue again.
Specifically I’d like to have the issues that were labeled as a vulnerability to be shown again.
Is it possible to do this per category like that?

Thanks in advance!

Kind Regards,
Jens

Hey there.

On the Issues tab (globally or at a project-level) a user who has the permission to administer issues can filter to “Won’t Fix” issues and then bulk change (all or a subset) of them.

And, it’s worth saying that if a developer marked an issue as Won’t Fix, they probably won’t appreciate them being marked as an issue again in bulk, without consideration for why they were marked as won’t fix in the first place.
