Visual Studio Marketplace Extension Cannot Be Installed

I’m trying to install the SonarQube DevOps extension from the Visual Studio Marketplace. I first go to this page SonarQube - Visual Studio Marketplace

and there is a button “Get it free”, when I click this button it goes through to the next page Visual Studio Marketplace

For a moment it gives a message, something like “Loading organisation” then the body of the page disappears leaving only a slim header with “Visual Studio | Marketplace” on the left and my user details on the right. The rest of the page is grey.

I’ve tried this with several different accounts from different organisations, with different browsers, with cache/cookies cleared and in normal and private mode and I’ve also asked colleagues to try. All get the same result.

Every other extension in the marketplace this page works.

I cannot find any real support on the Marketplace site hence why posting here

I faced same issue today, but managed to install it.

Here’s how, use different browser than you normally use, switch to private/incognito window and add/request extension from marketplace.

I think it has something to do with cached data, but this didn’t work for me in same browser which i normally use to access ADO

I’m sorry to hear the process for installing the extension wasn’t working. We released an update to the extension last week; sometimes, the Visual Studio Marketplace has caching in place, which causes some issues. Hopefully, it has resolved itself (I’ve checked myself and uninstalling/installing seems to be working fine)

If the issue remains we can escalate the issue to Microsoft.

Thanks for replying Lucas I think it was the day after posting this that the web page started work. Again thanks for getting back to me though
