Upgrading from 8.2 to 8.5 hides all applications

All,

I just upgraded our SonarQube instance from 8.2 to 8.5 (see full version below). After the upgrade the, the Portfolio/Applications page (http://<sonar_url>/portfolios) is not listing any of our applications… yet when I go to the project management page (http://<sonar_url>/admin/projects_management).

I even tried to create a new Application, and that still didn’t show up. If I create a Portfolio it shows up, so it seems to just be applications that don’t show up.

All of the associated projects seem to be fine as well.

I’m signed in as a user with full administrative privileges so I’m not thinking it’s a permission thing?!

  • SonarQube - 8.5.1.38104
  • OS - Ubuntu 18.04.1

Turns out this is not a bug, but that applications are now listed with projects.
