Unexpected Error when Synchronizing with GitHub users

Hello, I am trying to synchronize users from GitHub into SonarQube. I am met with “An unexpected error” The problem is as follows: I log into the SonarQube cloud (I am an admin to the SonarQube and GitHub organization) I go to the organization->members I click the following “Configure” button: I then click “Automatically sync with GitHub”: After clicking “Save” I get the error “An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later” After inspecting the error I see that it is …

I am experiencing exactly the same issue now (which never happened to me before):

1. Navigate to the ‘Members’ area of an organization (https://sonarcloud.io/organizations/<my_org>/members)
2. Click on the ‘Configure’ button at the top where it says “You can also automatically synchronize members with your GitHub organization. This feature will not function if your enterprise has SAML SSO configured.”
3. Chose ‘Automatically sync with GitHub’ and save
4. Nothing happens, except a small pop-up appears in the lower right corner of the screen: “ An unexpected error occurred. Please try again later.”

In the Browser Developer tools, there is such an error:

POST https://sonarcloud.io/api/organizations/set_members_sync status 500
