Unable to access detail from Code Smells or Security Hotspots etc on dashboard

Make sure to tell us:

  • What version are you upgrading from::: - 7.9 LTS
  • System information:: Azure
  • What’s the issue you’re facing::
    We have recently upgraded from 7.9 to 9.9 LTS. Viewing the dashboard on a branch provides us with the results of a scan as previously. However, when we attempt to drill down into the details of an issue it is unable to retrieve any data. ( see attachments ).

Would this be because it the issue details don’t exist in the upgraded database ?

Your Elasticsearch indices should have updated automatically, but this nonetheless looks like an index problem. Please try:

  • shut down SonarQube
  • delete $SONARQUBE-HOME/data/es7
  • restart SonarQube

If that doesn’t fix it, please come back to us and we can dig in further.
