@Richard_Mathis
Sonar-java 7.6.0 which has the fix for Java 17 isn’t bundled with SonarQube Enterprise 9.2 or 9.2.1
Do you have any timelines when it is available for Sonarqube enterprise customers?
Hi Shabbir,
Welcome to the community.
I checked. SonarJava 7.5 is the version which supports Java 17 projects. As you, I confirmed 7.5 is bundled with SonarQube 9.2.
Would you please let me know what is your current issue?
Regards,
Richard
Hey @Richard_Mathis
Sonarqube 9.2 has SonarJava 7.5 bundle with it.
But, there is SOANRJAVA-4091 issue that shows warning messages if you use Sealed classes which is the feature on Java 17.
This was fixed in SonarJava release 7.6.

Shabbir
Hi Shabbir,
9.2 support the parsing of Java 17 projects, i.e the Java analyzer is able to parse any Java 17 bytecode without any issues. But it does not actually include Java 17 specific features. it will be part of 9.3 as you can see in our roadmap.
I hope this clarifies.
Regards,
Richard
