We have SonarQUbe 6.7.4(Community edition) and want to upgrade to 8.3.1(community edition).
Can I directly migrate by installing 8.3.1 zip and update the properties files or do we need upgarde to any version before moving to 8.3.1

you need to version hop for this kind of migration. So in your case from version 6.7.4 to 6.7.7 to 7.9.3 to 8.3.1
