sonarQube upgrade to 8.9

Hi Team,

We are planning to upgrade our sonarQube from 8.5.1 to 8.9.6. After the upgrade do we have to recreate all the projects (around 20) to create new tokens for the Azure Devops service connection? or after the upgrade will the sonarqube portal will show the existing projects with the same tokens?

Information like projects, tokens and permissions persist after performing an upgrade – so no need to start over from scratch.
