SonarQube on Windows Server 2019

Hi,

We are carrying out an initial valuation of SonarQube and planning to install SonarQube with the following set-up:

  • SonarQube - 9.3

  • Scanner / CICD - Team City 2020.1.2

  • OS - Wndows Server 2019 (VM in Azure)

  • Database - SQL Server PaaS in Azure

Could you please confirm whether you foresee any issues with this? It not clear from the documentation we have seen whether SQL Server PaaS is supported.

Also, we presume you run the zipped up download as a Service on Wndows Server 2019?

Hey there.

It’s important that your deployment complies with SonarQube requirements. From a database perspective, note that SonarQube is duly tested on our end with MSSQL 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2019. We’re not aware of any issue/difference that would be specific to the Azure SQL DB implementation of MSSQL.
