SonarQube community edition support for SQL Azure database and SQL Server Managed Instance

We are using SonarQube Community Build version 8.6 deployed using zip with SQL Sever 2017 On-Prem.
We are looking to migrate the SQL server to either Azure SQL database or SQL Server Managed instance on Azure.

Please let us know if the current version of Sonar will support Azure SQL database or SQL Server Managed instance on Azure. Or we need to upgrade Sonar as well to specific version to support these SQL server versions. Or also please confirm if Sonar will not support these SQL versions.

Only the latest version of SonarQube Community Build is considered active, so you’ll need to upgrade and see if the situation is still replicable before we can help you.

Your upgrade path is:

8.6 → 8.9.10 → 9.9.8 → 24.12 → 25.4
