Sonarqube: exporting sonar rules to a file

Hi,

I am using the SonarQube version 6.5,
I want to export the sonar rules(from different profiles) with description into a file (csv,xml, txt etc).
Any help on this would be much appreciable.

Hi,

Since you want rules from different profiles, then profile export (a built-in feature) won’t help you. Instead, you’ll have to craft the export yourself, using the web services. You should find a link to the on-board documentation of the web services in your (slightly old) version of the server.
