We are trying to use Developer Edition of Sonarqube for our team. Kindly help with below details for us to initiate the setup.
How to use Free-Trial version? What are all limitations and guide to use free-trial in Developer Edition.
In our team we have around 60+ projects like UI(Angular)/API/WS(CSharp) with average LOC-100K per each project. Developer edition will be suitable for this requirement? Please suggest.
Is multiple sonar scans possible with Developer edition? Explain how this developer edition will help to support parallel Processing?
Will the Database going to be paralelly updated using multiple CE workers with Developer Edition?
How duplicated Lines will be calculated and explain the ways to see it from UI after we do sonar scan using this edition for our project.
Can we please have any updates here? We are awaiting to make use of Developer edition and wanted to know it will be suitable for our project requirement.
Please get familiar with the FAQ on when you can except a response.
Especially as there are currently Holiday Seasons around the world (including Bank holidays), there is a specific post about when Community Management is back in the Office (Monday 5th of January).
Until then, please be Patient and don‘t bump up the thread again, it will be triaged eventually.
We try to keep it to one topic per thread. Otherwise it can get messy, fast. I’ll make a pass at your list, but if you have followups, I reserve the right to ask you to create new threads.
You request a trial license, enter the license key when prompted and… use it.
Sales will frown on me for saying this, but it’s really not a question of how much code you have, but what features you want. That said, there are limits on the license sizes available for Developer Edition($)
This is two different things. CI-side, you can certainly analyze multiple projects at the same time. However, once those analysis reports reach the server, they will be queued and processed in turn. If you want server-side parallel processing, that’s Enterprise Edition($$).
