Sonarqube 2025.1.1 upgrade from Developer to Enterprise edition through helm-chart

  • Currently on sonarqube developer edition 2025.1.1 LTA

  • it’s deployed through Helm chart on kubernetes

  • would like to upgrade edition from developer to enterprise

  • just change edition to enterprise in values.yaml file, do i need to take care other thing here? or just redploy helm chart with edition change and then upgrade license key? I don’t find proper documentation on it

Welcome to the community!

Yes, simply configure Enterprise Edition to point to your DB, turn off Developer Edition, and turn on Enterprise Edition.

I just redeploy with edition enterprise through helm chart and provided key after deploy and it worked. Thank you
