SonarLint Visual Studio 2017 extension issue

  • Visual Studio version: 2017
  • SonarLint plugin version: 5.4.0
  • Programming language you’re coding in: C
  • Is connected mode used:
    • Connected to SonarQube : 10.2.1

And a thorough description of the problem / question:
HI,
I installed the Sonlint Extension in Visual Studio 2017 → connected to our SonarQube server → select the relevant project
When i open a file from my solution, i’m getting the following error:
Failed to fetch suppressions: Response status code does not indicate success: 400 ().

Hey there.

This extension, while available on the marketplace, is no longer supported and there’s no effort to keep new versions of SonarQube compatible. I highly reccomend moving to a supported version (2019 or 2022).
