We use azure devops which is connected to our company Azure Active Directory (AAD). We invite external developers outside from our organization and they use their own email addresses in Azure devops. Automatically a quest user is created in our AAD with their email. This perfectly works but now we have been trying to introduce sonar cloud and we faced that the first developer with outlook email address has not been able to sign in with Azure devops. He got the following error:
How can we solve that external developers can sign-in with custom email addresses?
Thanks for your quick answer. Apologies for the silly question but what does “work account” mean exactly? The developer use this email as work related email account.
We recently made improvements on Microsoft Authentication, and, not only supporting personal account, we support the full MSAL system, with V2 authorization endpoint, which might help you in what you want to achieve.
