SonarCloud APIs slas, uptime, reliability

Hi. In using the sonar cloud apis to

  1. provision projects
  2. get quality gates
  3. set quality gates
  4. do a scan

Its throwing far too many 500’s from the apis, and failures from the scanner, for me to be comfortable. I do have retries and backoffs, but sometimes its just dead and I have to come back an hour or two later. No code changes.

Is this atypical? Is there a status page on apis? Are there rate limits or other things happening that shut me down? Something I don’t understand? I don’t want to baby sit this CI job every day restarting it.

I’m dealing with a large monolith broken into 50+ projects, by team ownership, so projects come and go as teams come and go, hence the api provisioning.

Yes, this is atypical. We’ve had a very bad day today :cloud_with_lightning_and_rain: , with 3 significant incidents, two of which were unfortunately wide-ranging.

There are rate limits, but if you’re asking reasonably, you’re not likely to hit them.
