Sonar pending jobs

  • how is SonarQube deployed: zip
  • what are you trying to achieve: Quality gate
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this: Increased number of CE workers
    We are seeing an increase in the number of “Pending jobs” which is causing timeouts for users who want to run Quality gates as part of their workflow unless they put in a ridiculous value for timeouts.
    My question is what has changed that would cause this behavior which worked fine prior to upgrading to 10.7. We bumped up the number of workers with the proper heap memory amount however it’s still causing this pain. Any help would be very much appreciated :slight_smile:

Hey there.

There have been a number of performance improvements made in v10.8 to fix some performance regressions in the v10.x series of SonarQube.

I suggest upgrading to see if this reduces the number of pending jobs (because the jobs process faster)
