I want to follow up on this thread for posterity.
The repository in question was already being maintained by another contributor, but because of some external factors he was unable to perform releases. He and Michael have synched privately. We’ll be transferring ownership to the original maintainer, who will then take care of adding Michael as a contributor. They plan to release very soon.
