Regarding billing in sonarcloud

I had 250k lines of code for 80$ subscription for sonarcloud. The billing period is 30 of every month.

The problem here is last 10 days back, pipelines throws error as your organization has reached maximum number of lines. And when i came to billing section it shows as plan exhausted. But after 2 days the pipeline didnot throw any error and runned as normal and here again i checked billing again for which still half of loc is pending. But again from yesterday it throws as exhausted again which showed up in billing as well as exhausted. My question here is why its behaving good in middle of these 8 days ?

Or how the billing calculated for which am just confused/not understood what’s going on?

A lot could be going on that affects the billing of your organization.

  • Other projects being analyzed (or removed) that you don’t know about.
  • Other branches of known projects being analyzed that raise the overall LoC being used (the largest branch of each project counts towards your license)
  • Some fluctuation of the code being analyzed in your projects
