Quality profiles have not gotten any updates for a long time

Hi ,

We have noticed that our SonarWay default quality profiles haven’t received any updates for quite some time. According to the documentation we reviewed, these profiles are supposed to be automatically updated when upgrading the SonarQube version.

Could someone please assist us in verifying whether this is expected behavior or if something might be misconfigured?
Currently we are running our SonarQube instance on 9.9.9 version.

SonarQube 9.9 came out almost 3 years ago (February 2023) so that tracks.

To get new/updated rules, you’ll need to upgrade more than just the patch version of SonarQube.
