PR decoration result in not showing for successful Quality Gate

Hi,

We are using SonarQube 7.9.6.
It is observed that we are getting PR decoration results when Quality gate fails. Whereas we are not getting it when Quality gate succeeds.
Is this expected behaviour ?

Hi,

First, your version is past EOL. You should upgrade to either the latest version or the current LTS at your earliest convenience. Your upgrade path is:

7.9.6 → 8.9.3 → 9.2.1 (last step optional)

You may find the Upgrade Guide and the LTS-to-LTS Upgrade Notes helpful. If you have questions about upgrading, feel free to open a new thread for that here.

Regarding your question, in 7.9 the ‘success’ decoration is a good deal more subtle than the fail decoration. Once you upgrade, you should have a more consistent result.

Thanks for replying back.
We are planning to upgrade to 8.x in near future.

About not getting decoration in CI tools (like GitLab) for successful Quality Gate in SonarQube 7.9.6, Do you mean to say that this feature is not supported in 7.x, but available and supported in 8.x or 9.x ?
