My github projects are not showing up in SonarCloud

Hi there,

I’m having trouble adding my GitHub projects to SonarCloud.

I have configured access to two GitHub organisations from SonarCloud. The configuration seems to be fine.

For one organisation, I can see the GitHub repositories, but for the other organisation, I cannot. The repositories that are not showing up are public repositories.

I also made sure that I had a paid plan, even though the repositories are meant to be open-source projects — just to rule out any free vs. paid issues.

I hope someone can help me here. I have been struggling with this for days.

Cheers, Govinda

Hey there.

Weird – I can’t reproduce that! Are you still facing the issue?

Even if you limit access to certain repos in the SonarQube Cloud app, access to public repos should always be included.

Still, I’d like to know how you have things configured. All repositories, or only select?

Hi Colin,

I still have the same issue. I have added two Github organizations and should be able to see repositories in both.
Reality is, I can see only one.

Really would appreciate some proper help and troubleshooting.

Cheers, Govinda

Hey @Govinda-Fichtner

Sorry for the late reply.

Looking at ProductZen · GitHub, I don’t see any public repositories.

Am I missing something?

Hi Colin,

I do not have public repositories for ProductZen, but for my personal organization, Govinda-Fichtner, I do.
So, this personal organization and the repository attached to it, I expected to show up.

Cheers, Govinda

In this situation, you’ll need to create a separate SonarQube Cloud organization, linked to your personal GitHub organization. Please note that in SonarQube Cloud, each organization is exclusively associated with a single GitHub organization (1 SQC org = 1 GitHub org).

Where did you add this second organization?
