Migrate SonarQube Scan History from 8.9 to 10.4

Hi all,

We currently have SonarQube Community 8.9 installed on an Azure based VM and we’re currently building out a new SonarQube environment based on 10.4 in AKS using Helm. Both environments are using SQL based databases.

If possible, we’d like to keep the previous scan history from 8.9. Is there a way to do this? Possibly by migrating over the database or certain tables?

Hi,

You need to perform a normal upgrade from 8.9 to 9.9.4 and then to 10.4 to retain your history.
