Migrate from Azure DevOps to Github

Hi everyone,

I currently have a SonarCloud organization connected to Azure DevOps. I’m planning to migrate my repositories to GitHub, while keeping the pipelines in Azure DevOps. Ideally, I’d like to make this transition gradually, moving one repository at a time.

However, since SonarCloud only allows connecting an organization to a single ALM, I considered creating a second organization by signing in with my GitHub account. But when I try, I get a warning that my email is already associated with an existing account, and proceeding would remove me from my current organization.

You won’t be removed from your organization if you click “continue” – but the e-mail will not be associated with your other account until you log back in (it will swap to your new GitHub account). For those of us at Sonar who test out multiple DevOps platforms everyday, we switch many times a day without ill effect.
