License and server installation

Hello,

I’ve a question about license and server installation.

To prepare a migration from 6.7.2 to 7.3, we want to setup 2 other sonarqube server for some tests with the same license. Is it possible please ?

Is it possible please ?

Negative. A license is valid for one and only one ServerID, which itself is tied to a unique dataset. Copying over your production data and/or doing a vanilla test install will result in a new ServerID, for which you’ll have to get a dedicated staging license. Your commercial contacts can let you know how many staging/testing licenses you’re entitled to based on your current subscription.
