Import XML rules on the standalone SonarLint IntelliJ plugin

I would like to import XML rules into the SonarLint IntelliJ standalone plugin. I cannot connect to my client’s SonarQube server when I’m not on his local network.

I guess it’s not possible currently into the plugin, so this topic is an enhancement demand.

Hello Antoine and welcome to the Sonar Community!
If I understand correctly, you would like to add custom rules for the XML file analysis in standalone to match the rules your client has on the SonarQube Server. It’s not something that we will consider for the roadmap at the moment but we’ll keep a record of this and continue to look out for similar requests. We’ll update this thread if anything changes.
