How to update the sonarqube background submitter name

  • SonarQube Version: 8.2
  • Question: How to change the submitter name in the background task of SonarQube
  • Description: I have created a SonarQube project and that is integrated into the azure DevOps pipeline. So now, whenever someone triggers the pipeline, my sonarqube user name displays as the submitter in the background task always. Is there any way to display the name of the user who actually initiate the analysis?

Did you ever find a solution to this? Our scans are kicked off as part of a CircleCI build and Iā€™d love to change the submitter to whoever created the PR or possible who made the most recent commit.
