Is it possible otherwise to rename a user even if he comes from an external IDP where he doesn’t exists any more? So that the display name is at least changed? For manual created users it’s possible but not for Users which where created for example from Github.

First of all, I’ve moved your question to a new topic as you’re question is not related to User administration / security: Delete an user from SonarQube database.
Then, it’s not possible to update the name of a user coming from an Identity Provider.
Why do you need to update the name of a user that do not exist anymore?
