Help logging in with changed e-mail address using Azure DevOps

Hi, we’re using Sonarcloud in our organization and I have a problem logging in to Sonarcloud using Azure DevOps.

What has happened? I now have a new Azure user but kept the same e-mail address from my old Azure user I used in the past to login to Sonarcloud. When I’m now using Sonarcloud login with Azure DevOps, I get the following error:

Sorry, but we couldn’t verify your authorization to access this page.

When we tried, here’s what the provider said:

You can’t sign up because email ‘masked-here@xx.xx’ is already used by an existing user. This means that you probably already registered with another account.


So I need your help to delete the old user that I no longer use so that I can login again to Sonarcloud. I would appreciate if you could contact me via PM for further details.

I am having the same problem with my work sonar cloud account. Is there a procedure to have this addressed or just a private message?
