Gitlab thread resolves not syncing

question to Gitar+Gitlab users.

When Gitar verifies a comment and marks it resolved (green check circle), the Gitlab interface still says “all comments must be resolved”. I have to manually go and unresolve / reresolve Gitars comments for the Merge to be enabled.

I have read this is some kind of sync problem and that an “unblock” comment should have Gitar force an unblock. Is this a premium feature? When I mention the Gitar SA with “unblock” nothing happens.

Hey @4ward, welcome to the Community!

gitar unblock is not a premium feature, you can find it documented here. As you can see, the command must be enabled by an org admin in Settings > Behavior, so you might have to check with your org admin to find out if it’s enabled or not.

Regarding the seemingly “stale” or out-of-sync resolved comments, it might be a bug, I’m going to flag this for the team to see if they have any insight about it. Thanks for reporting it!

Yes, it feels like a bug why the thread is marked resolved, but somehow GL is still showing “All threads must be resolved”. I am reporting to GL as well.

I am the only user and marked as org admin but sadly don’t see that option.

Hey @4ward we fixed a bug with thread resolution today. Threads should be resolved correctly now. sorry for the trouble!
