Review resolved issues

Must-share information (formatted with Markdown):

  • which versions are you using: Enterprise Edition Version 8.9.4 (build 50575)
  • what are you trying to achieve: See which lines have been marked as ‘Won’t fix’ and other resolved statuses
  • what have you tried so far to achieve this: Searched online

Hi,

I’m looking for a way to see exactly what lines have been marked as resolved and for what reason. As mentioned in How can I review issues previously marked as 'won't fix' (and also `false positive') I can see under Measures → Issues how many issues there are and how they have been resolved.

Following the links I can navigate down the tree to the class that has been marked with a particular status. But when there I cannot see what lines have been marked.

Is it possible to see this information?

Hi,

I guess you’re filtering issues from the Resolution facet. That gives you a list of issues, with the file name and line number for each. But you’d like to see the issues in context? If that’s the missing piece, just arrow right or click on an issue and you’ll be taken to the issue in context. You can then navigate through the issues list with the up/down arrows.

HTH,
Ann

I think I must of been having a slow day yesterday

I can now see the Issues tab and there is the Resolution section where we can filter on the resolution type which give me the information I’m looking for.

Thanks.
