Error after applying license

SonarQube Version 7.1, with plugin sonar-license-plugin-3.3.0.1341.

I just received a new license for the developer edition from your sales department, but having issues with applying it. When I entered the code, I get error message below:
Commercial Edition can’t automatically be installed because of internet access issues. Please manually install the package.How to install it?

I clicked the button ‘set new license’, the license was validated and then I got the error. How do I fix this?

Hi,

You have two options here:

  • Upgrade to 7.4 DE, which comes bundled with everything you need
  • Manually download and install the bundle for 7.1

I’d recommend option 1. If you’re not sticking with the LTS for stability, then there’s no good reason not to upgrade to the latest version with all the cool new features. (BTW, 7.5 is being released as I type…)
