Endless scan identified on the Background Tasks

  • which versions are you using: SonarQube Enterprise Edition v9.9.6

As an admin of the SonarQube instance from the company that I work with, I noticed a scan running for more than 100 hours. With that, I would like to know how can I force the end of this scanning.

Here are the steps executed to found the scan:

  1. Administration
  2. Projects > Background Tasks
  3. At the status column the icon keep spinning and the duration is about 103 hours now

There’s not much you can do except to restart the SonarQube service. Checking the logs (specifically ce.log) should help you figure out where it’s getting stuck, and you can feel free to report that back here.
