Stuck background tasks

I have 3 background tasks that are stuck in PENDING for more than 12 hours. We use Github and a sonarscanner container that is invoked in a Jenkins Pipeline build. The Background Tasks page of one projects shows two tasks in pending, but no apparent reason why there is no progress

Issue : Quality Gate failed: Compute engine task did not complete within time

I am getting this error starting this morning, like since an hour or so. (Issue began around 10:30 AM Pacific time). We have bitbucket pipelines - sonar cloud scan setup Have tried several times and still same, is anyone else facing same issue at the moment ?
