Custom plugins "creedengo" not available on SonarQube Data Center Edition

Hi Sonar team,

Creedengo plugins have existed since few years.
Actually, we have developed different plugins on SonarQube Community Edition and we have improved them with all different SonarQube Community versions.

But, the first issue has been created to describe a problem on anther SonarQube edition : Sonarqube Data Center Edition.
After our first analysis, Creedengo plugins seem to be well installed and loaded :

  • in SonarQube logs, Creedengo plugins are really present without any error in logs
  • in administration tab, Creedengo plugins are marked as installed
But, when we go to “rules” tab to check if Creedengo plugin rules are available, there is no rule with our tag “creedengo” (all our rules have the “creedengo” tag).

Please heck the issue and discussions about it here : GitHub · Where software is built

Do you have some idea to help us twith this issue ?

A big thank you !

Regards,

David.

Hey @dedece35

When I install the latest version (2.1.1) on SonarQube Server DCE 2025.1.1, the rules all appear in my Rules tab!

My suggestion is that your user make sure they have installed the plugin on all application nodes of their DCE installation. They only appear to mention one node in their bug report.

I’ll also mention that for you, as a plugin developer, nothing stops you from spinning up a DCE cluster and trying it for yourself! You just won’t be able to execute an analysis. But to the point of seeing your rules reflected in the Rules tab, there will be nothing in your way.
