Create staging sonar server from production enviroment

Hi,

We use [chart-sonarqube-1.2.5+179/appversion-9.2.4-enterprise], we followed the guide from License Administration | SonarQube Docs to recover production database to staging database server.

After booting staging sonarque, we found it uses the same license with production environment. (checking license manager)

So my questions is now our production server and staging server looks like share the same license? is there any issue for this?

Hi,

IIRC, your server ID is going to be based partly on the JDBC URL. Have you somehow assigned the same URL to your staging DB?

Regarding the license for the staging server, with Enterprise Edition you do get staging licenses (2, I believe), so you would only need to ping your sales contact to get those staging licenses.
