Can't see any SonarCLoud projects after GitHub email change

Hello!

I use SonarCloud with GitHub login and a I recently change my email address behind my GitHub account and since I can’t see any projects in SonarCloud. I’m still admin at the organization and I can change organization settings, but I can’t see any projects. I’ve tried to change back my email address behind GitHub, but that haven’t solved the issue.

I am taking a look at your issue and I have a few questions:

• Can you please confirm you are able to login to Github account?
• Is it still the same account as the one with your previous email address or is it a new account? (you can check your login and verify if it is the same as before or a new one.
• Do I understand correctly that you already had organization’s admin permissions before changing your email address and you still have it?
• Do you have Github membership sync enabled?

Sorry for the late answer, I wasn’t working for a while.

• I’m able to login to my Github account
• The account is the same, I just changed my email address inside my Github account
• I already had the organization’s admin permission and I still have. I can change organization settings. I just can’t see any projects in the organization in SonarCloud.
• I’m not sure what you mean in “Github membership sync”. Where should I check that?

Thanks for answering the questions.
Can you also confirm that you are able to login to SonarQube Cloud with your Github account and that your SonarQube cloud login did not change?

You can find more information about Github membership sync on this documentation page.
To check if it is enabled, you have to navigate to your organization members page. If the automatic sync is enbaled, you will see that:

If it is not enabled, you will have a message informing you that you can enable it:

About gaining back access to the project, do you still have someone in your organization who has access to the projects you can’t access. If yes, did they check the permissions on project? Are you missing a permission you had in the past? Can they give you back permissions?

Hello,

I can still login to SonarCloud with my GitHub account.
On SonarCloud the Github membership is turned on.
I’m still admin in the organization and everything still works, I can change the settings of the organization.

I just can’t see any projects in the organization.

If I directly open a project from GitHub then I can also see that specific project, but the projects list is empty for me.

And what do you see when you go to the Administration > Permissions within your project?
