BUG count mismatch due to corrupt Elasticsearch index - SonarQube Index Clean up

Hi Team,
we are using sonarqube EE Version 9.9.
we performed below steps for index cleanup to fix corrupt Elasticsearch index.

  • stop the server
  • delete $SONARQUBE-HOME/data/es7
  • start the server

but still the issue is not fixed. still the bug count also mismatching from time to time.
kindly suggest a way to fix this issue.

we found similar issue - link Issues only shown on overview tab and as a count on the code tab, but not on issues tab - #2 by ganncamp

if you upgrade to latest version will it fix this mismatch in bug count.

bug count mismatch varies from time to time Ann ,currently is unable to capture it . but the link which we have shared gives more information.please refer once .

what we need to make sure is - if there is any issue with the current sonar verions EE 9.9.please suggest us an higher version would solve this issue?

Neither of the links you’ve provided gives insight into your situation. The next time you encounter this, please provide screenshots of both where the issues do show up and where they don’t.

That “Clear All Filters” button doesn’t show up unless you have filters applied. What happens when you click that button?

Thanks for the screenshot. So we see there are ~64k issues overall. If you re-click the ‘Issues in new code’ filter and nothing else, what do you get?
