All permissions on a project can be removed?

Hi,

It seems that a project is not shown any more (I see on the billing page that we have x projects and on “SonarCloud” I see all projects but one).

For now I suspect that ALL permissions on this project were removed ? Is this even possible ?

I’m part of “organization owners” and tagged as an “ADMIN” near the organization name and still I don’t see any more myself this project.

So :

  • is this possible that an allowed user can really remove all access to a project ?
  • if yes, can I regain access somewhere or what could be done to clean up this ?

I’m a bit worried about having projects that no one at all can see.

Edit: I tried on another unused project and see the same behavior. So it seems you can remove entirely all permissions so that projects are not seen anymore at all which seems a bit weird.

Under the Administration menu, do you see a Projects Management option?

If you mean the “Administration” menu on the “projects” page, it doesn’t show a “Projects Management” option.

We have a cloud-based “Team Plan”. According to Projects management page & SonarCloud, 'Projects Management" is available only in the “Enterprise Plan”.

Hi,

That’s exactly what I was after (but I’m not confident most users would know).

You can use the SonarCloud API to add yourself or another user back in.
