Adding a new Org only through a free account

Template for a good new topic, formatted with Markdown:

  • ALM used (GitHub, Bitbucket Cloud, Azure DevOps): Azure DevOps
  • CI system used (Bitbucket Cloud, Azure DevOps, Travis CI, Circle CI): Azure DevOps
  • Scanner command used when applicable (private details masked): N/A.
  • Languages of the repository: N/A.
  • Error observed (wrap logs/code around with triple quotes ``` for proper formatting): is not possible to add a new Org on SQC EE directly (error message: “You’ve added all eligible organizations - You have already added all the organizations where you have the organization admin permission”);
  • Steps to reproduce: In SQC, Go to Administration > Organizations and select Add organization
  • Potential workaround: add a Organization on a ‘Free’ account, and then move to the Enterprise account.

Hi everybody,

Is not possible for anyone on the team (even for the guy who have added the first Org) to onboard a new Org from AZDO, by following the documentation (Onboarding a new organization | SonarQube Cloud | Sonar Documentation).

To onboard a new Org I ever have to create a Org as a Free environment, and then move to the Enterprise. Is that the correct way?

Thank you.

Hi,

This is actually the expected workflow. And yes. It’s terribly confusing. I’ll raise this (again) internally.
