We are currently using SonarQube Developer Edition - Version 7.9.1 and we are on a Developer Edition License which is set to expire soon.
Question:
Do scans stop running when the license expires?

can you elaborate a little more on the symptom ?
What if a scan is triggered via the scanner CLI or the gradle plugin for a pull request ?
If that scan fails alltogether what would this mean for the PR quality gate ? Will pull request scans be ignored or will developers not be able to merge anymore in github.

This thread is 3y old. It’s better to open new threads, even if your question is exactly the same, because things can change from release to release, much less year to year. Nonetheless, before I close this thread, I’ll give you an answer:
If your license is invalid, no analyses work - main, branch or PR. IIRC, the server-side processing fails.
