User unable to login to sonarqube; error "user already exists"

User unable to login to Sonarqube after the password change. We tried multiple ways but not positive. When we checked in logs, we are can see that user already exists. Screenshot attached.

Please help us for the resolution.

Where was this user’s password changed? In LDAP or SonarQube?

Can you check the results of [your SonarQube URL]/api/users/search to see if this user’s value’s look out of line with those of other users?

The password was changed in LDAP.
I checked in api/users, all the values looks some as other users.

We tried working around. Sonaqrube user login is case sensitive. After matching the case, user is able to login.
