Unable to use arrow keys to select an issue transition

When I select an issue in SonarCloud and press the F key, this opens up the issue transition popup with options like Accept and False Positive. However, if I try to use the up/down arrow keys to make a selection, it simply navigates to the next issue instead of selecting a status change – which results in the issue transition popup disappearing.

I think keyboard support in SonarCloud has been wonky and broken for over a year now, but I’ve finally had enough so I though I’d raise a discussion about it.

Am I just using it wrong, or is there something wrong with keyboard navigation?

If it helps: I’m on Windows using the Chromium Edge browser.

Hi,

Thanks for this report. In fact up and down are explicitly (only) mapped to navigating between issues. That said, I think your expectation is reasonable in the context, so I’m going to flag this for the team.

That’s a fair point, and indeed, there is an issue with keyboard navigation in that context.

We have created a ticket internally to deal with that for SonarCloud.

Moreover, the same thing we have discovered in SonarQube and that ticket you can track if you would like to.
