"The requested project does not exist" on sonar server even though sonar analyses succeeding

Sonarqube Version: 7.1 Developer Edition

Error Observed: I am seeing “The requested project does not exist” on sonarqube server for one of the projects even though the builds are getting successfully analyzed through sonarqube for that project.

Getting HTTP error 500 when trying to access the project page on sonar:

Hi,

A 500 code means an error server-side. You should check your server logs, specifically web.log to see what the error is.
