i am using sonarqube community version 7.7. setup the email notification.
when i am sending the test email. it is showing me as successfully sent. but no email received in my mailbox. or even in junk. i checked the sonar.log. it is successfully connecting to my smtp server and sent the mail to my mail server.
please suggest.

The indications that you’re seeing in SonarQube that the email was successfully sent indicate that SonarQube handed the message off to your SMTP server successfully. I think you need to start investigations at your SMTP server.
As a side note, the current version and latest LTS is 7.9.1. You should go ahead & upgrade.
